Saito Masako has just move into Ootaka City. Her son, Jun’ichi, will join the local elementary school in class 4-3. The other parents are quite anxious because Saito san is not like them. She never afraid to speak her minds and confront anyone when she sees something’s wrong. Led by Tamai-san, 4-3 student’s parents try to isolate Saito san from school’s activity. Unlike the other adults, Saito san tries her best to understand children’s feeling when helping them overcome their problems. Because of her firm attitude, kids open their hearts to her. And slowly, she touches the parents heart….
There’s no single rule on how to raise a kid. As your child grows, you grow with him/her. I know it’s not easy to be parents in every era. You need to be extra careful to show your behaviour, because children imitate your behaviour. One thing Saito san teaches us is that everyone can make mistake, even parent makes mistake. When you do, don’t conceal your mistake. Apologise anyway, that way you teach your kid on how to apologise. Don’t you think kids who can’t say sorry learn from their arrogant parents? Your kid is watching you and they are extremely sensitive. You’re stupid enough when you think they can’t smell your lies.
