Kameyama Massan comes to Scotland to learn the way to make whisky. He dreamt of producing japanese whisky in his hometown. Masaharu is introduced to blond girl named Ellie and they soon fall in love with each other.
After 3 years living abroad, Massan must come home. He proposes to Ellie and together they'll be living in Japan. However, the marriage doesn't go smooth. Both parents against them thinking that different culture won't suit each other. However, Massan and Ellie decide to stay together and make Massan's dream comes true. Ellie starts to learn Japanese customs, and Massan strives hard to convince everyone about his choice. It's not easy, but they always support each other.
I just started the first episode and Tamatetsu's propose is so sweet. Kyaaa. The foreign girl is not bad, she manages to make me laughing. Yappari, the idea of overcoming differences is really good. As long as you have will to learn, you can try to adapt.
