Gou is assigned to transport 5 criminals. They were hikaribito who turned evil. They are called Kageribito. Among them is Gou's best friend, Jin, whom he swore to fight together. Though it's hard to guard his own friend, Gou must do his job carefully.

However, Magii ambushes Gou's ship on the way, letting Jin and other Kageribito escape to earth. Jin also opens a way to 1000 monsters to take over Earth. They'll take 100 days before landing, so Gou decides to gather the four Kageribito and makes them his underlings to help protecting earth.

On his way searching his underlings, he works part time in a second hand shop where he meet a gloomy girl named Kai Hitomi. She can see monster's true form, thus she helps Gou identifying other monsters.

Having Mitsu Dan in this series is just a big minus point. But, if I remember that this is made by the one who wrote Garo, then it's nothing surprising. It's not for kids, I know. I just don't like her. Can't she talk like normal people? Hmm, I guess she can't. 

Despite of watching the action scenes, I enjoy the five Kageribitos' interaction. Like a new baby, they find a lot of things interesting around them. So, they explore. Sometimes, they're doing it in wrong way and I can't stop laughing seeing it. XD
