Natsumo Nobuto used to work at a juvenile detention center. Now, he’s a rookie detective in Violent Crimes Unit of Criminal Investigation Department of East Ikebukuro Station. He’s keen perspective, especially when dealing with youngsters. Though his seniors consider his methods weird, he manages to crack the cases.
This is a very serious drama, with slow pace, which allow us to define the ideas delivered by the scenes. I think it is interesting to see Natsume who just becomes detective even though he’s more than 40 years old. His calm actions drag us to stop a while and smell the flower. He allows me to contemplate. I can’t explain how did I shed tears on 10 first minutes. Ugh.
