Strong Woman Do Bong Soon

| Air: 2017.02.14 ~ 2017.04.15
| Episode: 16
| Cast: Park Bo Young | Park Hyung Shik | Ji Soo

Do Bong Soon is a 27 years old unemployed woman with peculiar power. It's inherited to daughters along the family. For all her life, she's been trying to hide her power, but she also can't turn blind eyes when witnessing injustice.

One day, she helps a bus driver being beaten by thugs. Anh Min Hyuk, CEO of a game company named Ainsoft just happens to pass by and shocks by her strength. He recruits her to be his bodyguard. CEO Anh is quite narcissistic and seems pretty arrogant, but he promises to give her opportunity to join the company's game planning later. Bong Soon can't refuse it. It's her dream.
However, being the bodyguard is nothing she ever imagined before. She ends up being part of his daily routine, to the point she realizes how lonely this successful man is.

This is a Korean typical love triangle story. I think what interests me more is the psycho kidnapper cases coated in the plot. It's tickling me that a man would beat women just to make them his brides. And it's tickle more when Bong Soon has enough power to tackle him down, but enough brain to catch him. Ugh.

Of course, I'm so biased over serious police character played by Ji Soo, which also happens to be the second man. He might not a brilliant detective, but he's a persistent investigator. On the other hand, the male lead is too cute. I think he is perfect playing drag queen. haha.

However, this story offers deeper meaning in power relationship between man and woman. The prejudice of all women are weak is erased here. Men don't have to be the knight, and women shouldn't play princess all the time. You don't have to be the princess to be charming, okay? In fact, it's annoying when girls ask help from men all the time. You are all ability to the best with your power. Instead of relying on others, won't it be better to maximize your effort?

Anyway, this has been a quite relaxing show for the weekend, even for someone who doesn't watch kdrama regularly like me.

PS: the soundtrack is awful. Unlike Introverted Boss' which blow my mind away.
