Homonji Sharaku is the heir of Homonji royal household who's been dedicating their life in various fields of study, especially criminology. Blessed with IQ 246, he's been writing thousands of book and submits numerous patents. However, he finds life so boring that he always look into complicated cases to solve.

Todays Homonji's not as influencing as before. The government who used to rely on the household for cracking complicated cases is now trying to prevent Sharaku getting involve. In order to do so, division 1 of MPD is sending a rookie detective to keep an eye on him. It's the clumsy Wato Soko who claimed to hold 1rst dan of Judo.

Still, Sharaku always finds his way to interesting cases. How can a genius be blocked by a naive cop anyway? His snap judgment and deduction stop criminals from fooling the authorities.

Every genius is a bit weird. It applies to Sharaku, as well. He doesn't comprehend normal common sense, so he can't show simple manners. thus, people find him rude. haha. However, since there are a lot of genius stories share the same characteristics, I don't find this Sharaku attractive. Most clever people are antisocial. If I must put it into words, Sharaku's personality is just a typical genius guy.

Tao's character is completely different than Sachi Aguma. Although she's as enthusiastic as ever, she's so weak. I still remember she kicks Sota's butt in Omukae Death. What a pleasure. XD

The gorgeous character in this drama is obviously Kensei, played by Dean Fujioka. Talented, handsome and composed. He's the human version of Sebastian Michaelis. Ah, my heart......
