Toyama Kinshiro is the new chief of Kitamachi Police Station. Despite his speedy career, he's actually want to involve in a field investigation. But, his subordinates underestimates his ability and ignores him, especially Kakaricho Yozo Minami.
Toyama believes every case is important, even graffiti case which has been reported numerous times just to be ignored by the police. On the other hand, Kakaricho Yozo chooses more complicated case like robbery and homicide.
Toyama, then, chases his own case. Assigned to guide him is the rookie detective, Aikawa, who's dying to be involved in Yozo's team. Half-heartedly, Aikawa follows Toyama just to understand how the chief handles multiple cases smoothly and to the best advantage of citizens.
I just started it and I like the story. especially when a politician tries to push his authority to Aikawa, Toyama stands and refuses to bend the fact. Love it. It's not easy to find such bureaucrat today.
Still, I'm annoyed by Miori's acting. It's been years and she's still unable to pull natural act. hmmmm. But, Takashima Masahiro san is always amazing. Veteran! And Jinjin looks handsome, even though he's always grumpy. Well, if you're working under such supervisor, you'll find it hard to smile, too. XD
