Toyama Sakura has been without boyfriend for 10 years. During those years, she gradually forgets her nature as a woman that she stops taking care of herself. This eventually leads to her misfortune. Though, she works harder than anyone, but even after 8 years she never got promotion. Compared to her fellow colleague, Tachibana Rintaro, who rockets his career due to his ability to manage business. Is this the difference between man and woman? Whenever Rintaro appears, Sakura starts feeling offended, without even noticing there’s a spark of love between them.

One day, Rintaro is transferred to her beauty salon as the new manager. He makes Sakura uneasy for having no boyfriend, so Sakura accepts a customer’s gokon invitation just to show Rintaro she can make a boyfriend. And yes, she meets a hot young man named Saeki Hiroto. Is this a beginning of new love? Can Sakura raise a little hope of brighter future?

Despite of Haru chan showing his butt, I think the idea of this dorama is really good. Shinohara Ryoko has been playing strong woman’s character for years and so we don’t need to surprise seeing her Sakura. The idea of feminism is strongly delivered here.

First, it’s about feminism. I’m stabbed when Rintarou says,
“Back when women were going on rampage about seeking empowerment.
We said we'd treat them equally......and that was when women began brandishing their bad sides.”
I must say he’s right. Some women have been taking equal rights into wrong ways. They love to protest of how they’ve been mistreated whenever position seeking is on the run. They want to be treated in different standard than men whenever it’s convenience. But, when it’s making them suffer, they reject it. My brother and I talked about this long time ago when bro said “since this’ emancipation era, I have right to keep my seat on the bus even though there are women stand in front of me.” When in cramped bus, woman thinks she has more rights to sit more than man. Bro said he could choose to keep his seat because as everyone is treated equally, both man and woman has the same right to stay seated, right? But, what do you think these women respond? They grin. They can’t accept the probability that man who chooses to sit is really tired or even sick that he needs rest on the way home.

Second, it’s about loving yourself.
The reason Sakura is not happy, is not because she doesn't have man. She just doesn’t love herself. She keeps messing around. Look at her house. Is that a house of a 39 years old woman? I’m ashamed. I think once a woman can’t love her own self, she finds it hard to get partner.

Last, You might want to continue watching this series for Naoto. So cute. And he does looks 25. XD
