Haruta and Kanna are childhood friend. On the first day of their high school life, they meet Tomoya and Asami. The four turn best friend since then. But, Tomoya suddenly confesses to Kanna. At the same time, Haruta kisses Kanna without telling his feeling clearly. This makes Kanna confused. When Kanna goes on date with Tomoya, Haruta is getting hit by a truck on his way home. The friendship cracks.
8 years later, Kanna is already a working adult. She needs to deal with rude editor, Akazawa Roku. As they get to know each other closer, they learn each other's secret. Back in the time of his childhood, Roku had his close friend killed in car accident. Thus, the two traumatic people begin their self healing.
You can't solve a problem without facing it. You can run, but it keeps following you. Sometimes, it takes more than sweet words to make you realize the whole reason. But, I believe the one who reprimand you and force you to see the reality is the one who care about you the most.
Well, some first loves stick like cancer. I know it's sounds so tragic, somehow overrated. But, I just can't stop these tears coming from my eyes.
